Thanks to everybody for your comments on my entries, fics and art! It means a lot to me and it's great that through these posts I'm meeting new people (mainly Grimmjow fans, heheheheh). I'm pleased my HidaTema fics weren't complete bust-ups...it's the first time I've written that pairing. I wrote a HidanIno a while back, but that was written not for romance but for what I do best...dark!fics. I'm used to writing Hidan in a twisted way, so trying to write HidaTema without being too sadistic about it was a challenge.
I want to write Death Note at some point! And most especially something Ryuuk-centric. I don't see many good Ryuuk fics that aren't narrations of the Death Note story (and therefore...why not just watch the anime or read the manga?) or yaoi fics involving Raito. Yes - someone didn't label their fic properly and scarred me for life with the double pain-dose of yaoi and Ryuuk/Raito. It was still an awkward read when I tried to picture it in my head but at least someone had the decency to write Ryuuk with a girl (Sayu!) and label the fic properly once upon a time!
I'm wondering if maybe a Death Note fic I would write would be based around another time Ryuuk decides to drop his Death Note into the human world. I mean, if L is dead then I'd like to create a new character rather then come up with crazy ways to tie in original characters. What do people think? Obviously this won't be top top priority - I have other things to do XD. But I'm interested to ask...just what would people want to see in a Ryuuk-centric story? Isn't Ryuuk fantastic? Apple, anyone? Does anyone have a gif of Ryuuk doing the caramell dansen thing?
There's a cosplay ball right after the October London Expo...I'm probably going to go with Radish. We're thinking of doing Death Note again, only in formal dress. He'll be L, I'll be Misa...and I'll be handcuffed to him =_=. For 'authenticity'. Damn, I'd better find a nice black formal dress with a little twist of Loli. Sounds almost impossible O_O.
I'm going to start looking for a new job =_= I'll stay at this one until I find another one, but I'm defeated after only three days. The whole crew is only half trained and they're incompetent. They're making me do tasks I'm nowhere near trained enough to do. The manager is a snarky bitch. And most of all - I feel my IQ dropping for every second I'm checking ticket numbers and hunting out suit bags. At least in admin, I feel like less of an amoeba. Not to say I don't approve of retail work - I LOVE it, when the manager isn't a @$£! and I actually know what I'm doing.
I'm gonna go wash my hair and try to get the pain out of my feet. I might watch The Mummy to chill out a little. Brendan Fraser AND Arnold Vosloo? AND that Medjai dude, Oded Fehr? That movie was designed by NYMPHOMANIACS.
P.S. Anyone else think Brendan Fraser was the most adorable piece of man in California Man/Encino Man *andGeorgeoftheJunglemygodhewashotholycrapola*?
