Almost there
I've been very reclusive lately, I'm sorry! I'm finalising and working away at my portfolio.
I'm surprisingly proud of my work.
Normally I have that usual 'GAH I SUCK' thing going on, but even I can see improvements now compared to how I was. My teacher has given the green light to three of my four stories with lots of emphatic hand-shaking that is actually kinda creepy, but given the sort of person she is it's also very, very encouraging.
And I know that only one of them reads my blog, but I'd like to congratulate all of my friends too - we've all struggled and hated our writing and struggled to find our voices. They've all supported me and I hope I've supported them too. Peas, Cheese, Biscuit and Radish - you guys are the BEST. I hope I end up with you all next year because you're the greatest Crew I could hope for. Spork - you may not be a writer, but dear god you're brilliant and we need to trash Radish's room like we planned (or burn it down, whatever's good).
And in the case of Radish - seeing as we're both thinking of going into teaching, I hope I end up at the same uni as you so we can terrify the students. We can have Japanese food in the lunch breaks ^_^.
Hand-in date is this Tuesday. I'll be at Radish's on the Monday because we're acting as course reps and meeting the higher-ups. After our Developing the Novel briefing on Tuesday, it's down to Wagamama's to celebrate the end of the second year. Hopefully. I mean, we might have another course briefing to go to but we can work around that.
Okay, I have more work to do. I'm sorry I'm not updating stories or anything yet - I'm literally just letting people know I'm not dead before I get back to endless writing.

P.S. Any Death Note fans who haven't read the novel "Another Note: The Los Angeles BB Murder Cases" should go read it NOW *shoos*. Seriously.
