Picturing them at Zepp
Short, short excerpt from the Saito Kazuyoshi & Ryo crosstalk in Weekly Pia released today.
Saito: I attended Kanjani8's live show recently, at the Kyocera Dome in Osaka. The moment i was inside i had the feeling "All girls!!" (laughs)
Nishikido: Ahahahahah!
Saito: It was packed with girls inside. Everyone was waving those shiny things (read: penlights lol) around. The stage setup was amazing, and there were skits as well as band performances. And those band performances were really good. It may be tough in terms of seating capacity, but i had such a thought "Would wish to see Kanjani8 do a live band show of their very own at places like Zepp too." It was really something.
Nishikido: All of us were so nervous then. "Kazuyoshi-san is watching us, what should we do?" And then for the first time i got my lyrics messed up for 'Puzzle'! I sang 'we' instead of 'all of us'. I was like "Aaaaaah, i messed up!"
Saito: I was thinking "Ahh, they have such a version for their live shows." (laughs) But it was fun. I was waving my Ryo uchiwa throughout.
Nishikido: Yeah it was really warm inside the hall wasn't it? And so i had the manager bring nothing but the uchiwas for you. (laughs) Sorry about that!
Saito: No it's totally okay. (laughs) The uchiwas had pictures of your faces really up close and huge, didn't they? The staff person i went with asked me "So whose are you getting?" And i said "Nishikido-kun's one for me then." (laughs)
And apparently there's a song in Saito's new album that has lyrics ~*~inspired~*~ by something Ryo once talked to him about.
I also liked how Saito referred to the guys by their nicks - "Maru-chan" and "Tacchon". :3
