HI ROCKY! HI HI ROCKY!

Mar 31, 2009 22:10

Wahhh just got back from UCHI HIROCKY

I'm gonna keep this brief because I will write properly a) when everything in my mind stops buzzing and swirling, and b) after tomorrow's show!

Key points from tonight:

*It was the opening and first of the 3 shows in Osaka Jo Hall
* Performing alongside Uchi were Kisumai (without Tamamori who is filming Gokusen, and Fujigaya and Kitamitsu who were somewhere else that I've forgotten...), Hey Say 7 West with Nakayama Yuma, Kansai Jrs, a whole lot of random people like Ishigaki Daisuke and others in the band (which had like, 2 drummers, 2 guitarists, keyboard i think, and a violinist!) and other juniors (forgive me but I'm not a hardcore junior fan, especially I don't know the Kanjuu yet but I'm learning!)
* The MC consisted of Uchi talking about his problem trying to buy a copy of Shuukan Shonen Jump comic last night, Senga being late for the shinkansen to Osaka because he was buying Nikaido an obento (aww how cute), Yuma and the juniors who had been in dramas and so on, so forth. (Will explain more in my proper reports!)
*Songs....a whole mix of everything. Uchi solo's (eg: Master Key, All the Way , Crave It, Niji Iro no Sora etc) with dance, guitar, just singing etc., singing with Kisumai and all the juniors, a huge NEWS/K8 medley, lots of old senpai songs from Shonentai and TOKIO, Kisumai songs, Hey Say 7 West songs (including their BRAND NEW song, which was amazing!!) and even KAT-TUN sung by the chibi juniors!!
* The lighting for the show at the start is PINK and YELLOW!!! (kyaaaaaaa~~~~)
*Double encore!!

FUNNIEST/BEST/ SWEETEST HIGHLIGHTS
* The theme song (sung in the opening and in encore) "HI HIROCKY" (pronounced as "hai" in Japanese...) was so goofy and so typically Johnny's but amazingly fun to go crazy to
* Uchi singing "Kis My Me Mine" with Kisumai..... LOL TO THE MAX (and yes, there were rollerskates)
* This random song called "JUMBO" (or which involved excessive use of the word JUMBO anyway....maybe a junior song?? I'm not sure)
* Uchi's "chuu" (kiss) face!!! He totally "chuu"ed to the camera!!!
* Uchi handing a signboard to a little kid in the first row of the stands.... so adorable
* Nakayama Yuma in all his wonderfulness (he is totally the next Tegoshi & Uchi combined)

AND NOW, PERSONAL NOTES:
*Before the show (we got there exceedingly early, like 3.5 hours...) all the fangirls were selling old uchiwa and limited edition goods. We got photos with a pink and yellow ranger. People were staring at us, the only white foreign fangirls around, and when they found out I was a Ryo fan, they kept running up to me with Ryo goods and trying to sell them. And the dafuya (ticket scalpers) kept calling out, trying to sell to us.
*There was an amazing amount of PINK on almost every fangirl! It was so pretty and lovely and sweet of them to be wearing Uchi's trademark color!
*I cried three times. ESPECIALLY during "Niji Iro no Sora"....those lyrics are soooooo personal to uchi's experience and basically its total eito-news-fan love from him....not to mention its such a pretty song... but seriously, the girl I went with pointed out the significance of "Niji Iro" (rainbow colored).....is that not total K8 love or what??
* I LOVE SENGA AND YUMA AND NIKAIDO AND omg I had to confront my secret addiction to Kisumai and Nakayama Yuma today. I can't deny it anymore. I haven't really come close to mentioning on this LJ but its been a secret addiction for a little while and seeing them in the flesh just confirmed everything. PS: TOTALLY seeing PLAYZONE like a billion times!!!!
*Our balloting is so funny. Because our tickets for tonight's show were in the VERY BACK ROW (row 22) yet for tomorrow, we are in ARENA seating!! Okay, Osaka Jo Hall is a great venue. We were at the back, yet because the seats are so steep, it didn't even feel far away. The arena is so small when you are in it, and we were sitting almost directly in the middle so we had PERFECT view. And, one of the big screens was like, only a metre away from our seats so even though we were at the back, we could look RIGHT AT the screen....AMAZING!!
Seriously, anyone who gets row 22 block D at Osaka Jo Hall, DON'T GET RID OF THE TICKETS, KEEP THEM!!! It was amazing seating, and totally not closed off or anything so it didn't feel like the back at all.

Here are some pictures I took with my keitai:

Yup, we were in the very back.

Okay, so this picture actually makes it look like we sat closer than we did....haha there were heaps of seats between us and the stage, but still...

Can you see the lighting is pink and yellow?? Hellloooooo RYOUCHI!!!

This was the big screen that was close to us.... just imagine Uchi-kun's (and Senga's and Yuma's) beautiful face being that close!!

THESE PHOTOS totally make the arena seem wider than it really is... it feels alot narrower when you are in there.

ANYWAY thats all I can be bothered to write tonight. I am so totally amazingly psyched for tomorrows show and ARENA seats because I was totally watching what happened in the arena and basically ANYONE who sits in arena seats will have a great time. ALL the juniors and Uchi go through the gaps on carts, they totally dance and spend alot of time in that middle stage and basically you are right in the thick of it if you sit there. AND WE ARE SITTING THERE TOMORROW NIGHT, for the last show.

By the way, there were no special guests (in other words, no Kanjani boys) present tonight. I'm hoping someone comes tomorrow (but not to the afternoon show coz I'm not gonna be there!!) LOL whatever, I am more than satisfied with the experience already so if anyone does come, its just icing on the cake!!

Speaking of which, look what came in the mail for me today!! (along with my balloting forms for Kanjani and the additional KAT-TUN concerts!)

Mine is blue as you can see.

Well thats all from me. I am in a happy place! About to be even happier tomorrow!
