My hero.
Usually when I read about 16 year old kids doing great things, I get a little pissy inside. "Big deal, sailing around the world solo," I would say to myself. "I'd do that if I didn't have cable."
Ironically enough, I didn't even find out about 16 year old Daniel Pereg by watching any Cable news. I barely found any mention of him anywhere, but somewhere in the corners of the "blogosphere," I read about a 16 year old who simply carried a flag.
Kids do the darnedest things. But I still do wish I had that much chutzpah at 16. Or even now.
