This is me relating the rules of metal to the rules of life they are very simlor you can learn a lot from Dragon Force people!!!!
The Rules of Metal (the rules of life)
1. You have one goal: be epic. Life is so much better when everything is Epic , Epic is always cool expect for maybe saying the word “Epic”
2. Let no sound be lonely. If there’s a guitar solo, harmonize it. If there’s singing, make it a choir. Never be lonely always surround yourselves with love ones. As your make your guitar solos in life its always nice to share the experience with someone you love.
3. Keyboards offer a way to add thousands of different textures to a song. Find two of those that you like and use them on every song you write. Drugs are a lot like Keyboards, they add texter to ever experience…use a lot of drugs in life
4. In a power metal world, everything steel is good, and anything good must be compared to steel. Steel is good always compare future mates with Steel its good qualities to look for in a person like steel they should Be Strong, a good foundation and Shiny
5. You are not bound to sing about Satan, evil, and/or darkness.
6. You are bound to sing about dragons, freedom, and/or power metal. You will always make more friends if you talk a lot about Dragons, because dragons are cool.
7. Remember how no sound should be alone? Same goes for albums. Everything can have a sequel!
8. You are allowed to be blonde. Blonds have more fun in life
9. Swords enhance your credibility and your performance. Be sure to carry one regardless of whether or not you know anything about using one.
10. Pick a theme and stick to it. Manowar are warriors of true metal, and they don’t get to sing about anything else. Rhapsody has their Algalord chronicles. Hammerfall has their steel, hammers, and templar. Running Wild has pirates. Blind Guardian has Tolkein. None of them are allowed to sing about anything else. Like in life if you find something that you enjoy and are good at it stick with it and all your dreams will come true
11. If you have to sing about something else, put together a side project to do it. Avantasia is the perfect model. Just because you have a job doesn’t mean it defines who you are you can always have a hobbie
12. Ballads are permissible. Like a slow ballad in life you need to slow and smell the roses once in a while it’s hard being epic all the time
13. That doesn’t mean your ballads can suck. Don’t get in a rut when you slow down
14. The longer a song is, the more epic it is. See rule #1. The longer you stick with something the more epic you will become with it.
15. More solos means more epic.
16. If at all possible, be Michael Kiske. Micheal Kiskes has everything including beautiful blond hair
17. If this is not possible, pretend to be Michael Kiske. Condition a lot
18. Just because 300 bands before you have already done “epic,” there’s always room for more. In life it dosent matter what people are doing or thinking the only thing that matter is what your doing or thinking
19. Tight. Pants.
20. Wizards! You need wizards!
