Torture Garden tickets for sale/poor sick kitty/new job
We have two Torture Garden tickets for sale.
£32 each (plus £1 booking fee I think, will have to check). Let me know if you want them or know anyone who does.

Our cat Scooter was taken to the vet yesterday as she had not eaten hardly anything for 6 days and she was kept in for observation/drip/blood tests. Talked to the vet this morning and she has kidney failure, at least 75% for toxins to show up in the blood, which is unusual for a cat that is only 10 yrs old. So she either ate something poisonous (which is highly unlikely, as she is very picky about what she eats and doesn't go outside much). Or it is congenial. Or she has a tumour. We are waiting for results of an ultrasound now to rule out the last possibility.
So yeah, that's why we can't go to TG...so far we are up to around £500 in vet bills. We might have to cancel at least one of our two holidays this summer as well.
Bollocks bollocks and more bollocks.
And before anyone says 'you should have got pet insurance', it would have been very expensive (if they would have covered her anyway, most stop covering new cats around 10) as she is already considered an old cat. We only got her 10 months ago from her previous owner, who didn't have insurance for her either. For those that don't konw, they have 4 other cats, and 3 of them were bullying poor Scooter to the point she wouldn't leave the cupboard, so we adopted her.
In slightly better news, I had an internal job interview last Friday for a position in the Civil Aviation deptarment in my company (I work in the Maritime Dept now). Similar position as now (Administrator/Office Monkey) and same money but in a nicer/smaller department that will hopefullly give me more oppourtunities. And without my arsehole bosses. And as Alan says 'planes are cooler then ships'.
Well I got the job!
