  • Graphic Novels for People Who Hate Comics.  Brilliant list.  Maus, Persepolis and Box Office Poison.  And no superheros.  Ha. [via]
  • Apparently today is Towel Day in appreciation for the brilliant Douglas Adams.  I'll have my towel handy.... [via]
  • The Maths of Terrorism[via]
  • Apparently there is a new movie out about Global Warming, involving Al Gore called An Incovenient Truth. The attacks are already out from the groups attempting to debase science. The Competitive Enterprise Institute has a pair of atrocious ads (worth viewing for a good scare).  From CEI, CO2: They call it pollution. We call it life.  Which is apparently not backed up by the science they use.  Quoting Lessig:   CEI: They call it truth. Scientists call it lies.
  • On the same front, "ThinkProgress has a clip from Fox news on which an Exxon lobbyist compares Gore's film to Goebbels' propaganda."  Atrocious. [via posts 1, 2 and 3]
