Thievery
So, right now I am in my new apartment, where I don't have internet. But I do have a wireless card, and have realized that I can steal internet from my neighbors. I'm not going to do this forever because I would feel bad...but right now I feel pretty bad-ASS because I figured this out. :)
Other news is that Erin was here last weekend and it was fabulous to see her and Nanette. We went to Baby Wants Candy, who put on a hilarious show, and got to eat dinner at a very fancy restaurant. I actually got lost trying to find it, which is funny since I'm the one who actually lives in Chicago. :)
My Around the Coyote show goes up February 10th and rehearsals have been cool. I'm by far the youngest in the group, but it's been amazing. Everyone has been really involved, and it feels like a really nice ensemble. Also, I'm doing a lot of work directly with the playwright, which is neat. I will have auditions in two weeks for my show at Citadel Theatre Company. (I'm directing a David Ives one-act for them.)And I got called back for a job at Steppenwolf for their Cross-Town Teen Ensemble. The workshop tonight was so much fun. We did some really cool exercises that I would love to share with MTS and any interested writers. And when everyone is here in March, we can party in my apartment!
I have also had to get a part time temp-job. For the past two days I've been filing things at Northwestern. And I thought I would hate it, but I actually don't. It's kind of peaceful, and I can think about all my projects while I do it. And my co-workers are very nice...we're all going out tomorrow and I'm excited.
Anyway, I must go to bed, but I love and miss everyone in SC and hope you're all happy. :)
