sleep? what's that?
Gooooooooood morning USA. A fine winters morning in the East where a big ol' storm is crankin through. I miss snow. I also miss sleep. I've been awake since noon on Saturday... and I'll be going to bed at noon on Sunday. Weather Channel holiday party at the Georgia Aquarium was Saturday night and I refuse to let this job cancel allll my fun things to do so I went and then basically came straight to work.
On the plus side, as the "severe support" for the nasty winter storm going on I was assuming that I would have nothing at all to do. Instead, WJR in Detroit is getting some nasty stuff so I am their weather guy all morning tracking the snowflakes one by one. It's pretty fun. And you can listen to me online if by some chance you are up at this ungodly hour of the morning. Good times for all.
Man that holiday party really was fun. I'm glad there are still a few awesome coworkers even though this place sometimes hurts my... everything.
