Minor Update Of Sorts...

Friday:
We were to have our Star Trek viewing party. Of course the only people to actually want to watch them were me and Kaylie, and later Dan. We got through Wrath of Khan, saw a bit of Seach for Spock before deciding to put in Voyage Home. When we did this it was only the three of us as everyone else went out for ice cream or some nonsense like that. Of couse I went to go pick up Di from work and by the time I got back, expecting Generations, I was greeted by Madagascar on the TV. Apparently the "mob" had vetoed Star Trek in favor of that. I of course grabbed my movies and went home.
Few things that miffed me:
1. They were playing a game while the movie was on...what would it have mattered?
2. I went out and rented four movies, which I didn't need too, for no good reason I feel.
3. Why have a Star Trek viewing party if you're not going to pay attention and watch the damn things?
I mean really!

Saturday:
I got a new digital camera so that was cool. I stayed home and watched SNL's season finale with Will Ferrell. The show was great! Celebrity Jeopardy was great, as usual! But I was a bit sad about the fact that it was probably Darrell Hammond's last show. I think it was a good episode to end 15 years on though.

Sunday:
I mainly watched Friends and a bit of DS9 today. I should have been doing homework, but I didn't get to it but I have a doctor's appointment when it's due so I figured what the hell. I know, bad thinking...but whatever. I did watch SNL: Just Shorts and make some yummy chicken burritos. So that was actually cool, I got to see a lot of classic filmed pieces from SNL's history and enjoy my yummy food.

I think I'm going to call Dave and let him know I won't be in tomorrow. That way I can pretty much use tomorrow as a homework day. I know, I know..I shouldn't but I might as well. I don't see myself getting anything done tonight..which is bad. Blah spring class having homewor everyday >_<

Oh...one final note. I am irked by Dan at the moment, because I feel he doesn't consider the Borg a threat to the Federation. They sure as hell are! Just going after Earth? Are you kidding?! If they do it's cause Earth is such a great target. If they assimilate Earth, they've crippled Starfleet and the Federation. Also calling the events of First Contact a time paradox? The Borg went to stop the Federation from being created and the crew of the Enterprise-E stopped them and fixed the time stream. They weren't meant to go back there, it was an accident that got them stuck in that temporal vortex and they went back to fix the damage that wasn't there before. They weren't meant to do it, they just had to. Also that whole stopping the creation of the Federation only to create the Federation doesn't fit with me. If you read this thanks for putting up with the rant. If not, I hold nothing against you. :P

Anyway...I'm done for the night. I should sleep and such since my appointment is in the morning and such. Well bye.

Later days people. :)
