first reverse applique purse
So, this silly bag is just for me, because I managed to really fuck up the lining and got red permanent marker stains on the damn thing... but this is my first attempt at a reverse applique purse. I did promise I'd post a photo sometime soon, so here it is.
It's supposed to be Einstein, as part of my "famous vegetarians" series. I think it almost looks more like Hitler (perhaps after aging a little, gaining some weight and being hit by lightning), who is also a famous vegetarian, but not what I was going for.
Really, it just looks like some dude on a purse. However, I'm assuming attempt #2 will be better than attempt #1.
I'm going to do a series including Einstein, Tolstoy, maybe Da Vinci or Kafka or Mary Shelley or something... I guess I'll have to read more of their stuff before I attempt that shit, though.
