Hi guys,

this morning I was so excited, because I had to hold my first lesson at Montessori-School!
I couldn't sleep the whole night and till 2 a.m. I prepared, pictures, letters and homework for the students...I really tried to make the material interesting. I don't want to be such a stiff teacher like

The topic of my class was, of cause, africa, so I prepared masks, riddles, and texts as homework.

The the class began...
I asked the children about their knowledge of africa and asked them also a lot of questions, then I started to tell them some things and also I tried to attack prejudices. I children were so crazy about my african cloths and tools and also they really enjoyed my fairy tales from tanzania.
after the class the children came to me the whole day, still asking for more details and stories and also they greeted me well in swahili.
I felt so happy and relieved...

But one thing is still so strange: Since last week, when I got the news about my "class-holding", my roommate uses to call me "sensei", and every time I feel like she affects me directly at my sensitive spot.
I'm feeling like yamapi:
