I've never been poked on livejournal before...I think its cute :P
I'm aliveeeee. Lots has hapeened since I posted last. Lots of pictures to update with, but I'm posting from my phone (which I didn't even know was possible) so I don't have access.
I'm currently on a roadtrip with chris, we went to orance county to visit a friend I haven't seen jn a while, then went up to LA to see dethklok with mastodon and converge...craziest show I've ever been to. I'm still super sore and bruised up from it. We got about four people away from the front, and it was the first time I've ever had to leave! Chris tried to lift me up to crowdsurf my way back but I was too scared. I'm not metal enough. I dipped, he got up somehow and crowdsurfed, and we met in the back. The concert was insanely good, I've wanted to see converge since I was in middle school. They're the only hardcore band that I think is super awesome. His voice is a little repetitive, but the music is good and I gotta give him props for screaming the way he does for so long. They even have a song called jane doe that he screams in for 12 minutes! They didn't play it though :( they played some of my favorites from their jane doe album though! Mastodon was ehhhh. I don't like them much and was waiting for them to be over, but that's when people started getting rowdy. DETHKLOK was fucking badass! They had a screen and played a mini episode sort of and it was hilarious! It was supposed to be them backstage, and talking to each other. Brenden small is a fucking saint! He was sooo awesome! I was just too short for all those tall metal guys. Chris told me I was a trooper for lasting so long.
We stayed the night at a hotel, then left for stockton. Which is where we are now. We stayed the night with his uncle. He has over 4000 records! When the radio station needs a record or song, they ask HIM! Insane! He even owns a big band radio station and is known not to ever play the same record twice unless people request it. Haha ridiculous! Anyway, he's gunna make breakfast today for us, we're gunna head for chris' other uncles house, and they're gunna throw a party for us. Were staying here tonight, then leaving for san francisco to visit my grandma. I'm excited for that! Were gunna have lunch with her and spend some time, then head over to montery to stay the night at my cousins house, have dinner, then head for home the next morning.
I'm excited for all the stuff I get to look forward to, look forward to lots of pictures!
