Kay this is CRAZY but the Japanese Hagaren Fans are requesting for us to help get 500 to 1000 signatures on their Tanomi Petition by the end of April? / sometime in May?. They AIM to get about 200 signatures between 2 weeks airing time of the new Hagaren FA first. They seem to be planning to send the Signatures to the Editorial Section of Shounen

Yes, the forums I went to are full of ignorant dub and translation slaves. Only very few are Otakus like us.
I only came in contact with one in the thread I was being flamed. That fellow Otaku said it was rare for series in Japan to have such a big change in the casts like this. Changes only happen when the Seiyuus are either dead, sick or unable to work anymore. he /she also mentioned that there seem to be some dark unknow matters going on behind the scene. It seems like a reasonable prediction explanation to me.

I noticed some common characteristics for those ignorant bunch which I came across on the forums I visited.

They not only will never bother trying to learn a bit of Japanese; they only randomly pick fansubs who releases the earliest to watch, they won't go into detail in brainstorming or compare if the subtitles are translated correctly or not as you have said; watch the series just for the sake of just watching something to make use of their free time; if a previous series exist like this case they don't seem to want observe the goods and bads factors of the series using them to compare for a peaceful discussion, they just want to watch for the sake of watching!! If you go against this god like idea of their's they will flame you like there's no tommorrow (e.g: DUN WATCH IF YOU DUN LIKE IT!! with no reasonable reasons to support their argument at all); Japanese Seiyuus means nothing to them trapped in a well frogs. If you mention Seiyuu is a vital part of an anime, they will flame the heck out of you saying things like "THIS IS NOT THE CASE HERE!! (previously mentioned)" "YOU ARE TRYING TO SAY THE OTHER STAFFS ARE NOT IMPORTANT ARE YOU?! (never said shit like that, screw them) YOUR WORDS ARE OF AN INSULT TO THE OTHER STAFF MEMBER OF THE ANIME!!"; If you talk about hagaren goodies like housoukyouku with fellow Otakus whom understand a bit of Japanese as well, you happy chat a few pages of stuff they won't ever understand without Japanese knowledge (cause no one translated the stuff for them yet). The dubs shits will get jealous and flame you for being off topic (e.g. THIS IS TURNING INTO AN OKAWA TORU THREAD!! CLOSE THIS DAMN THREAD NOW ADMIN!!!!!!!! GET THE HELL BACK TO JAPANESE FORUMS AND SPEAK JAPANESE should also be in this category); Thinking that "BECAUSE I WATCHED THE LOCAL DUB THEN READ THE SUBTITLES MINDLESSLY I AM GOD LIKE, I AM THE UBER MR KNOW IT ALL OF HAGAREN!!" So they think GOD gives them the right to flame you with unreasonable shits like the Commerce Bible example for instance "because money saids so!!", "ARE YOU INSANE?! Yea!! There never seem to be any of the real fans you spoke of at the forums I roam about to advertise and played around on previously before. I can withstand true hagaren fans whom are either "Like the manga, hate the anime" "Like the 1st anime, hate the 2nd anime" "Hate the 2nd anime, like the 1st anime" which you have mentioned about. I would be happy to accept reasonable arguments for any side of each person's likings from true fans whom spend time researching on the factors you mentioned in your reply for the Original format aka Japanese version of the series. Fake fan wannabes like those dub slaves and tranlation slaves will never be my cup of tea to say a single word to.

The person said when he /she reads this, though it was suppose to be about another 作品. But when he / she is reading it, gives the feeling like Okawa san is talk about his role as Roy. He / She feels sad reading such a phrase.

Originally Okawa san was talking about the matters for his dubbing work for Star Trek. Lolz I was stupid enough to write assumptions that it might actually have relation to Okawa san expressing his spiteful feeling towards the incident of losing Roy's role. Though I said it was just predictions, being the truth or not I have absolutely no idea at all. After that someone replied and said if that is the case then Okawa san is really short on temper. I immediately went to apologize and plead for mercy, I said please forget about my assumptions. Assume it's all my fault, please dun say such things about Okawa san anymore. Thank you very much. Phew.......me and my big mouth........T_T (You'll see what I wrote, when you get on the thread. Please scold me if I am saying stuff I shouldn't be saying on there. Thanks m(_ _)m)

The complaint thread got snatched away by the admins I think. Cause when I was about to post a reply, it kept saying ERROR thread not available for posting anymore.

We'll have to wait till they restart a new thread tomorrow.......=_=|| The threads were suppose to die at the number of 1001. But this one got KOed during 4XX. Wonder what happened causing the admins to kill it off like that.

I am starting to feel turned downed as well after continuously spreading the word out hoping to gather enough true fan power being able to at least see some kind of reaction from the officials lolz.

"THE NEW CASTS NEED FEED, GIVE THEM A CHANCE!!" *I think I am gonna be able to scored 100% in a recite dictation for these phrases soon; True Hagaren fans who care about the anime are so few in numbers or rare as a diamond to be found or no where to be found (lolz the purpose was to find these ppl but I seem to have failed hard ORZ); TODAY WAS HILARIOUS I keep finding ppl who dun know there's a new Hagaren Series coming out and was asking if my Cast Change Info was AN APRIL FOOLS DAY PRANK!!!??? Haha, yea I have been watching a bit of those Homemovie dubs. Okawa san acts as a different character almost every episode. lolz it brings up that pet cat episode in my mind when you talk about Paku san and Okawa san flirting about. Though it was funny, but I just couldn't withstand sitting there watching one niconico clip in full *titters*. Yes japanese dubs for such foreign shows are just the same as English dubs for the Japanese shows. I seem to understand your point now.

Yup, I do agree the ppl on 2Ch are really nice. Your Japanese is very good, at least you can create a discuss with them. I just answer and talk in simple phrases. You could see mine writing on there, it's just horrible...ORZ. The Japanese are surely warm welcoming people XDD It's a bit confusing who's who on the forums sometimes but yea overall it rocks for me.

The people on the Okawa thread seems dull and boring though. When I was advertising the petitions over there, i dunno if it was my Japanese is bad or whatever. They seem to be saying that "YOUR TOO LATE!! This is not a thread only for Taisa!! Okawa san has lots of other characters you know!!" =_=|| Speechless to such a reply. So I apologized for causing any trouble or if they hate me I was sorry. Then didn't bother going back anymore. To me if you can get them chatting with you, they seem quite nice. If I was not their cup of tea I can be so different.

lolz on the previous thread I thought I was gonna have a fight with someone whom brought up the topic of Okawa san writing something in his blog, the person was saying it makes him / her imagine Okawa san talking about Roy's role went he / she reads that particular sentence. When a discussion was going on about it, some random dude pops up and YELLS This is becoming an OKAWA THREAD. Then I said "Not this again?" I explained how I ended up quarreling with other dub fans on this matter. It was a miracle that person didn't argue with me...I was like?! O_O||
After that someone found out that dude was using multi ids to cause an argument to flame Okawa san. At the end that scum disappeared. I was stupid enough to beg that ass to stop insulting Okawa san. I should think more before I say something later on *introspects*.

Yes, ranging from teletubbies, that parrot in Aladdin (Kingdom hearts), Bad guys in all sorts of anime, Fathers, Bosses....etc. He's just fit to voice almost any character there is, which is good for his career. More experience the more people will consider of employing him for jobs.

I do appreciate his stage acting performances as well. I bet you saw those clips on niconico right? His voice creates all the magic you need to fall in love with him. The cool, funny and suave factors you mentioned are the reasons which why I wanna call him Okawa PaPa. When I hear his voice it feels like hearing an imaginative dad talking to his fans lolz XDDDDD

The theme of the new series seems to be selling "HOPE OR DESPAIR?" and "DARK FANTASY" = 「絶望、悲し、罪」 <---My guesses. Therefore your assumptions for what kind of feeling Yasuhiro wants to express in Hagaren FA are correct.

Miki's voice in the trailer does seem he is still unsure of how to act Taisa's voice till now. You are right, he does serious need to do something about that. But when you watch the 1st episode this Sunday if you watch it live on KeyholeTV or TVants maybe?! You will find out if this is the case. Okay back to the topic, when Miki was narrating the trailer with these phrases, his voice wasn't pressed deep enough to emphasize the depressed atmosphere surrounding the harsh conditions the brothers were going through but still manage to go on. I do hope these were just test runs or something. If this is the tone he's gonna use through the whole series then many jaws are gonna drop on the floor.

Yes "The Seiyuus need feed, give them a chance!!" was the most common and best argument they could come up with upon those dub bums and fake fans. Those brainless consumer bunch obviously know nothing about the law of supply and demand. They do not care about the suitability of the CVs, they just wanna watch for the sake of watching something. The quailty of the product they are consuming does not seem to matter. This is the bunch which the current Square Enix is aiming to sell the new Hagaren to.

When we were following the law of Supply and Demand requesting for quality of the product we become the irregular bunch as our number are not as overwhelming as the mindless dub bums and translation slaves.

Therefore when I advertise for our demands, the "Everyone else around me has no complaint why should you have?! Shut up, be quite and watch like the rest of us!!" concept in their minds causes them to flame at our goal.

Oh and there was someone yesterday whom thinks he / she know about the Seiyuu's voices so much saying on one of the forums "I watched Gundam 00 all along, they (the new casts) should work well in a team in the new series. I know XYZ fits all the role she voices!!" (A fun fact is half of the new Casts is from Gundam 00, the 2Ch ppl started naming Hagaren FA to 鋼の錬金術師00). Reading comments like this makes me speechless and wants to ROFL. Anime fans these days *Sigh*

People rarely consider if the Seiyuu fit a role these days. With a majority of Anime fans not caring about the quality of the anime they watch anymore makes things easy for those companies *Sigh*

Oh yea, you are right about the fact we won't be able to get even a hundred signatures it being all pathetic. Okay about Okawa san......

That blog thingy caused a lot of confusion for me. My heart seems to be half half in believing if Oka-san was REALLY just mentioning about that he didn't have time on his schedule for the dubbing role in Star Trek DS9 or about losing his role as Taisa (the column was written 2 months after the interview at the radio show VOICE Kyarabi he, Paku san and Kugimiya san were advertising about the Limited Edition Complete BoxSet + Spring Carnival'09. The hosts were like you all 3 are gonna be in the carnival right? back then. This was the reason why I am half half in believing this scenario =_=||).

Yea though I do not want to believe that he has a bad temper towards losing roles. I actually do not mind if he does anyways. He's human like all of us, everyone has times when they have a bad temper towards matters in life. Yes Miki-Roy will have fans, such as some of his die hard fans; new viewers to the series like some kids whom watch tv in Japan during 5pm on TBS and MBS, new anime fans whom never touched the series + know little or nothing about Seiyuus; those 「ベラベラうるさいぞ、阿呆みたいの吹き替えファン連中」。

These bunch of people either have no feeling towards or never came in contact with the 1st series's Cast's performances. They are a bunch whom will not bother to explore to obtain a maximum level of luxury from the series they are enjoying like us. Therefore for them to realize that some of the Seiyuus of the new Casts do not fit their roles is a MISSION IMPOSSIBLE I'd say. Explaining to them is also a waste of breath because they will not listen to any of it anyways. It's like an attempt to place a pot of beautiful flowers on a pile of dung.

I dun care if these people will understand us die hard fans' feelings for the previous series or not anymore. Cause a majority of them seems hopeless and uncommunicable anyways from my experience. *Sigh*

The first time I saw the trailers on youtube or hagaren.jp and stuff this phrase wasn't on the trailers.

I BURSTED INTO LAUGHTER and KEPT LAUGH SO HARD when I heard this yelling at the end:

三木大佐「私の焔を舐めるなぁぁぁぁぁ!!」

I was like WHAT IN THE WORLD kind of emotion was that yelling suppose to express? It seems like some sort of "Reckless young bouken shounen whom hasn't seen the world yet" yelling to me. Wasn't the Taisa in the manga suppose to act calm, mature and cool when he speaks? How could Hawkeye tachi repect someone like this? This is not only Miki Shinichiro's problem, it seems like the one whom wrote these Dialogues are out of their minds as well.

Wouldn't it be better to have Taisa speak in an over confident leader like gentleman tone 「フーンー(Hmmm sound effects)、私の焔を舐めるないよ~」

Before the boxset was being released noone knew there was these cast changes, I am guessing a whole bunch of the 1st series' fan are dissapointed if they are not Paku san's, Kugimiya san's or Fujiwara san's fans. I guess the ditched casts fans whom won the draw for tickets to the carnival could sell their's for making up being ripped off.

Yea lolz the dubs just puts you down and all that. It's does feel kinda hard since you like Miki but you dun think he's doing a good job for the role of Taisa now. Also you wanted to see Paku san, Kugimiya san and Fujiwara san because of the dub...... :-/ *pats on Sinnesspiel san's back*

I dun see any bad about bitching on the series at all. If there was nothing wrong with the series why would there be criticisms, right? The one's pumped up for the series should be considering your comments about the series as well as watching the series itself. But they tend to be carefree about such matters and like flaming people like us *sigh*

I do agree. Yasuhiro, script writer, dialogue writer have more responsiblity towards the raping of Roy's personality in this new series than Miki (though he still has some responsibility as well for misunderstanding the character himself - from your interview translations and that YELLING shit in the CM).

Lolz we dun have to be a director, to be guessing what kind of tone the true Taisa or Okawa Taisa would be using in such a scenario.

Because we have a basic idea of how Okawa san's Taisa tone and Arakawa writing style of dialogues, guessing all this would be a kind of fandom I guess.

Ours guesses are so different, but I like yours better. The tones you're mentioning about are floating about in my mind now, I understand what you mean *thumbs up for Sinnesspiel san*
