It's been a long long times since Okawa san sung any character songs.

Wonder if the last one was for Neo Angelique or Mizushima FMA.

Anyhow here's the link to the song sample.

If it's any consolation, they fired most of the FailMA staff to make the movie. The FailMA cast was still on board, but I suspect it's because of a contract for the new seiyuu for a few years... or just because it might be seen as officially a series1 movie with a change back. I've been told there's absolutely nothing, plotwise, that makes it necessarily manga or anime1...

I've also heard the plot is more ridiculous than Shamballah could ever hope to be, from the summary. I don't really have the interest in seeing it, from the reviews and clips, but I do think it's at least a better note for FMA's legacy to end on than FailMA.

XD Glad you enjoyed Waka-sensei's page. I really loved Shiki and thought he did a wonderful job again, at first making Ohkawa unassuming, not quite cold but not incredibly warm, then hardening him up and playing out his increasing tensions. He's a very skilled actor. But I'm preaching to the choir.

So, GOSICK is going to be a let down if I follow it, huh? Damn. Maybe I'll just stick to the image songs and never actually finish watching it, then. Still, if Ohkawa himself was so moved by it... (But he was also really into Bantorra, which I couldn't get into the main plot of.)

Maybe once the anime is ten years old they'll do some anniversary thing and make something new for the good FMA! Then the good FMA will have the last hurrah. It was, by far, the most popular and profitable breakthrough element of the Fullmetal Franchise.

Yeah it's nice to hear they fired the whole Irie FailMA Team.

I seriously wonder how long did they sign the contracts with the FailMA seiyuus?

They should know FailMA was a huge failure.
They should have noticed the Boycotts and Petitions of voices against their decisions for FailMA.

Even though they have signed contracts and stuff,
it doesn't mean they should still use them to produce garbage.

If there were to be a 10th year anniversary thing.
I wish they could finally realize their wrongs,
ditching the name of FailMA,
along with the unfit seiyuus once and for all.
Making something that any FMA fan could enjoy.

On the other hand, if that FailMA movie didn't have any connection with the manga plot.

They know the fact they were losing big money with the series.

Why bother to create more garbage to dump more money into a pile of shit?

I just can't figure out what Square Enix's management people have on their minds.

Keep up the good work for your Waka-Sensei page ^_^b
Yeah, Shiki did give us a tasty treat for Okawa san's performance skills. >:3

GOSICK was good at the start till the middle.
But the ending was shitty.
You could give it a try and see if you like it or not.
I first got into watching it from the start because of the GAG and Detective type of genre.
How the main characters met and became friends, then going around solving mysteries was my favourite part of the story.

Later on when it got to the main character girl's background,
the story started to go down hill.

The character/s which Okawa san acted wasn't much to the plot. That's why it surprised me when they gave him a character song.

There was a cast comment from Okawa san for the After Recording to the ending of GOSICK.

I felt odd when reading about it when I read Okawa san saying he cried when he was rehearsing at home for the last episode.

But I personally didn't find it as emotional when I watched that actual thing. Weird, usually Okawa san's thoughts to his series are correct. I dunno what happened this time *Sigh*

Yeah, Okawa san really loved Matto Arasto Barori and Bantorra. We could find time and discuss about Bantorra's plot if you like XD I would enjoy re-watching it and going through the plot again, since I loved that series :3

Anyhow, I suggest you give GOSICK a go.

I haven't been able to find the character song out for grabs yet. I'll keep searching for the mean while and report back if I find anything.
