Okay while I am excited about the release of the new game from The Legend of Heroes series.
After YS vs Sora no Kiseki Alternative Saga's release on 7/29.
The Legend of Heroes "Zero no Kiseki" 's official site opened.
I was so looking forward to their trailer which I found released on falcom's hp.
After I watched the demo / promotional video........

2ch! I thought so, my other thought being a possible TV program website. But, I wonder how reliable the info can be since it is from anti-FMAB board which can possibly consist of watchers or fans who are also incredibly biased.
I totally forgot that Kondou was the leader! Lol, Hiji sounded like the leader, even though Koudou sounded like "the papa" sorry Okawa. I getcha. That definately makes a difference.
I am the same. I got introduced to, and starting liking, Okawa because of Roy. I might've told you that already or it was Schuldich. I'm a little ashamed because he's a veteran. I don't like missing so much, as if they only made a huge breakthrough just recently (ie: much younger seiyuu)
Yeah, Pervy "Global" was cool. Casual whiel touching the crew members' assese ;p
OKIE! I'll check that out. I somewhat remember Tokugawa, beign loud and squeaky? Okay, maybe Squeaky isn't the best word, but it's young and fits his short stature. lol.
"Soul brothers"? I only see jirou listed for higurashi.
81 CD: Hey hey, ToshiSeki, K-sensei, Kouki, Tessho, Kakihara (I think) and others are in there ;/ but I still do wonder. I think Miki did play a soldier in ZOIDS: Chaotic Century and the tone was fine, but my memory is blurry. I'll have to look again.
It's that "hey it's that voice" Syndrome. ^^; Kenshin is Paku, that's it. Sure he may sound a bit like Ed, or feel that way, just cause it's Paku. We have trouble hearing someone else, but we just gotta work at it ^^;
That's not what I felt about Keiichi.
It was another "unconventional boy" type of incident like with Ryuusei.
I'm all for different sounds if it's believable, like Kusao or Kaki or Fukuyama doesn't have to play the heroes all the time cause I get bored sometimes, but the thing with Keiichi it's like...uh...
Okay I'll start that it's low toned. That's okay, he's a mid-teen (15?) main character, makes him a little tough. It's not like typically high-pitched "I'm" like ..I guess Orikasa Ai, Mokoto, or sometimes Takayama Minami.
But it sometimes feels heavy. You'd have to hear it yourself ^^; Maybe it's nothing wrong.

Also from an Anti community haha that's too.
Though bias might be the had side for the material.
I agree, Making up stuff could be one thing.
But to look on the bright side,
I'll believe a majority in the Anti community will search for actual negative proven sources for their material.
Lolz calling Okawa san a "PaPa" is alright.
Since back during Soul Eater's anime,
Okawa san was called "Ooka Papa" during his radio show and all over the place anyways XD
Also to Souji, Kondou san is like his dad and Hijikata is like Souji's Elder brother. They are like a family anyhow lolz.
Hmmm for the Edo Rocket incident.
You might be just like me with MikiShin's low slurry tone.
When you dun like something, you just wont like it in anyway.
and it's hard to explain to someone what you dun like about it.
Oh and have you see gameplay of Sengoku Basara 3?
Fukuyama Jun did a funny cowardy like character in it, maybe you would like it lolz
Tokugawa Ieyasu was in his 1X during the previous Sengoku Basara series. So Okawa san was doing a 10 year old tone for him before (Okawa san didnt really like playing young characters personally, he mentioned himself complaining to Capcom's staff for being select for this role during a Live Basara Event lolz). The new grown Tokugawa sounds much more mature and kool (his looks as well) in the new game Sengoku Basara 3.
For 81 Produce to be casting MikiShin just gave me a bad feeling to their ability in casting. Sorry for being bias on that @_@||
If MikiShin was acting as a soldier then I guess it would be alright. But a Military leadership role is a no no for his tone.
To me personally, I okay with Okawa san using his Roy Taisa tone all the time. Because I got hooked to him by this tone.
Too bad he seldom gets roles to make use of it. (´.ω.`)
Ahh and i forgot about "Soul Brothers"
"Soul Brothers from Higurashi contains of 4 male members from the series.
1. Maebara Keiichi
2. Oishi san (The Cop)
3. Irie sensei (The doctor from the clinic)
4. Tomitake Jirou
The are a funny group of men.
You just have to watch Higurashi Rei to know what they are about lolz.

Papa/Kondou: Lol, okay!
Edo Rocket: I don't dislike the voice though. It was just strange from first experience. When I heard Somi the first time (in Hellsing?), I thought "okay, she sound like she could be an energetic boy". That expected tone *would* come out but sometimes it would also get a little rough sounding. I do like deviations to different roles anytime *nod* If Sakakibara Yoshiko was picked for a boy, many would probably think she couldn't do it.
Fukuyama: I'll check that out! He even did one in MGS!
Ieyasu: LOl, he complained? I thought he wouldn't mind being such a skillful guy. Did he say it was too tough or something? Young Toku sounds cute.
ZOIDS: OK! I was wrong about Miki. I thought he used a different tone, but it was quite a while since I heard it. It's kinda low/gentle. I think his character is a subodinate to Karl Schubalz (Ueda Yuji!). But...but, Ueda's char is, I think, a MAJOR (becomes Colonel). He doesn't sound what you could call an officier with the commanding voice. Instead, he has a pretty young voice. It works well with the face definately, and it is a nice voice, but it's like he's some young genius.
I guess I feel that way because the English dub Karl had a nice voice (Zoids:CC had a pretty nice dub!) and it sounded more commanding I think.

Lolz I am the lazy type.
Since the 2Ch Anti force is gathered in one place it's easier to check on their discussions and info shared :P
About my Japanese,
I havent been to any classes before.
Actually I learnt it bit by bit from all these years of anime watching. And wanting to learn more about Okawa san and his work was a great motivation.
Nico Nico Nama Housou a streaming site on NicoNico Douga was great help in understanding conversational Japanese (as well as some local slangs). In streaming channels where they use a comment reading program called "Bouyomichan" or "Softalk", it makes things more easier. For the slangs "Google" is your best friend :3
Anyhow, my Japanese still isnt any good.
Therefore I still need lots of work in learning the language though.
For Edo Rocket, hmmm so the Tone Soumi Yoko was using for her boy voice in the series wasnt the tone you would be expecting her to use?
Haha Fukuyama did that kind of role in MGS too,
should be fun to hear his acting XD
For Ieyasu's role,
Okawa san didnt mentioned an actual reason during that even.
Okawa san just mentioned of how he kept asking the Producer of the Sengoku Basara series Koyabashi "Why was I chosen to be Ieyasu?" Producer Koyabashi just answered him "Well wasnt this good?". Okawa said he want to act a more kool and different Ieyasu during that Basara event.
Now Okawa san got his wish granted in the new Sengoku Basara 3 game XD
My guess why he didnt like acting as Young Ieyasu was he had to squeeze his voice to suit the tone. It might be uncomfortable for him, since Ieyasu has lots of dialogues in the game. Another guess might be he just like to act handsome characters more and Young Ieyasu was out of his expectation (Young Ieyasu just wasnt his cup of tea).
For Zoids, Thanks for the voice clip :)
Yeah MikiShin chose a wrong tone for his character there.
If he was a subordinate of Ueda Yuji's character,
then his tone shouldnt be as such.
Hmm, there are execptions sometimes.
A command tone being needed or not,
might depend on the situation, the character's mood, the character's personality and background.
It's hard to tell if the tone was right from a short voice sample. And I dun really know much about the series lolz.
Dub...i havent hear of how it was, so no comment XD

Japanese: I don't think anime watching will make you very fluent.
Nico: I still have trouble navigating around Nico. What I really want to know is if you can C&P comments because sometimes I want to know what they're saying in the video really bad.
Oh, here. Good stuff! http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm10748927 (lol, Elmo!)
EDO: Probably (or I'm just affected by only listening to saiga/takayama/ogata/takeuchi/nozawa being selected for boy roles). You'd have to listen to it. *nod* Funimation on Youtube has full eps. That reminds me, you probably don't like the sound of Olivier either do you (like Schulich)?
Fukuyama: Whiel I forgot his char's name on BASARA, I did see it. Some [gay?] guy with an embrella or saucer I think? He wears red.
OKAWA/TOKU/BASA: It felt liek he didn't have trouble with the voice. Furukawa Toshio does that voice plenty! Heeey, Okawa is flexible and I'm glad he could play such a guy. Thumbs down to typecasting. If this has to do with "changing his image", then...naaaaah! He should be okay.
How did Ieyasu grow up so fast? lol
ZOIDS:
Miki-chara is also Major (少佐). I wish I could remember, but they seem like peers until Karl got promoted. Ueda/Karl is the one with the light tone.

It's...probably not a big deal. It is a little rough, but tolerable.
