(no subject)
For those that aren't in the know,[which is basically, everyone that is'nt a RL friend of mine] I'm finally home, home. Caught a flight on the 2nd from Vegas. Spent a hour or dozen in sin city, and believe you me, they don't call it sin city for nothin. But it my case, it was more like a drunken stupor, followed by a couple of hours of walking around, hitting on everything walking. Met some really cool chicas in the process. Got their numbers, and will probably never, ever call them. What can I say, "whatever happens in vegas, stays in vegas."
I am home in Minnesota finally. Some relaxing time is exactly what the doctor ordered. No matter how hard you try to throw all the events of last year on the backburner, it seems to always makes it way back to the front. This time, however, it was me doing the talking, and my friends, doing the listening. No stupid questions. The whole war awe has finally lost its silver lining. I am just me again. Which is fine by me. There's no one else I rather be right now.
Went up north to a buddy's cabin this weekend. It's sort of become a tradition around here. They go up every 4th of July weekend and get plastered and bond and get bitten and all that good stuff that comes with camping. This time, however, is my first. I only made it for one night, but it was a fun filled one. Lots of drinking and with drinking lots, there comes lots of stupidity. Laughed liked there was no tomorrow. You couldn't imagine how good that feels. Maybe you can, but you couldn't imagine it from me.
All in all, I am just happy to be around, happy to be alive, and just happy to make new memories. I am also pretty happy about meeting a girl.
