Oh my got! You guys wouldn't believe what I've been doing. I am actually a litle ashamed of it.
The last two days, I've been, get this, at the swimming pool tanning. Yes, tanning and frolicking in the water. I am such a bad soldier. I mean, who the hell do I think I am, right? I should be miserable and dodging mortars and rockets and bullets and shit, but instead, I've been swimming and looking at girls in bikinis and tanning and staring at girls asses and tanning and pretending to not stare at girls asses, but really I am. They should seriously kick me out right now. I have shamed everything that is holy. I am THE sinner of all sinners.
Wait....... I am not the only Army guy here. There are hundreds of them.
You mean to tell me that I am suppose to be having a good time? I can relax a little? Oh, what the hell is this world coming to. What in tarnations is going on here. Kuwait is like the apple and I am Adam. Just chowing away at it.
Yes folks. They have a fucken pool here. A very nice one, at that. There's a food court with any fast food, artery clogging, obesity turning junk food you can imagine, except McDonald's. And a whole lot of others, but you get the idea.
If you think I was hating on the fuckers that are stationed here on my last post, then you aint seen nothing yet. This is horse shit. I am just glad I finally have the chance to relax. Sort of.
Before you think I've totally gone over to the dark side, don't fret my jedi knights, I've also been working. Consequently, I haven't been sleeping much. What with all there is to do here, plus work, I've been rather busy.
Last night we had to go download all of our trucks from the semi trailers and get them ready to be washed and shipped home. Tonight, we will be working all night to wash them. Then its ground hogs day all over again. At least for a couple more days. Once we get them all nice and tidy, we wait for the ship to arrive.
I'm having a good time. I hope you guys don't think any less of me.
Oh and I returned my Sony DSC-T1 and got a Canon Powershot SD400. The T1 was my baby, but the battery cover was broke, so I waited for them to get another one in, but it never came. So I just decided to get the Canon, which was the camera I wanted in the first place. See, it all worked out.
