Various types of butt-kicking.
I have to say, even though it is concieted, that I am finally kicking some butt lately :) I'm proud of myself :)
I've gotten a ton of stuff done for our wedding, which is nice, because I don't want to be nuts in the week or two befor; I'm working on researching and writing some curriculum for our camp, which I will be attending for two weeks this year and teaching at; I got into grad school at Regis University and am taking my first online class in Nonprofit Management (and loving it!); and I faced a major fear and got contacts (I have a very genuine problem with touching my own eyes, and no one else, not even the eye doctor, is allowed to touch my eyes, I don't care if I'm anesthetized).
The contacts are really nice to have, because I can see out of my own eyes, no glasses, for the first time in about eight years. I'm lovin it, though it's weird not to have glasses on :)
Everything else feels like it's going really well, and that makes me proud. I'm working really hard to kick my own ass and get my life into the shape I want it in. I should have a Masters degree in less that two years, and I'm going to be following my passion, and I think that's what people should do :)
So, the summary of this post is that I am very happy right now :)
Also, a very big congrats to Doug, who landed an internship all on his own :) I'm proud of how much ass he's kicking on his own :)
