Life goes on....
Well, I guess it's with a little bit of relief that I can say that it's
been a really uneventful week. I got some stuff done for the wedding,
and hung out with my family. My mom went to the awards ceremony for her
book, and I was really proud of her for that. Doug should find out
today whether or not he got the position with the company he had a
second interview with over spring break (let's hope--great company!!),
and I'm still looking for jobs, which is frustrating, but I'm trying
not to take the self-pity route. It'll be nice when one thing or the
other settles down a little, preferably me getting a job.....
At any rate, I wanted to toss a few pictures in here, just as a little
documentary :)
This is Doug, Becca (with Alana on her lap), Elisyo, and Antonio on the little train at the zoo. These are my cousin's kids, and we all adore them....we had a great day at the zoo that day, even if we did have a few really cranky moments from tired little ones :)
I'm having trouble getting the "after" photo to work, but I'll put it in here at some point....
