For Shauna
Well, since I seem to have not made any posts in a long time, and have gotten a complaint about it from someone whom we shall name Shauna, I believe it's time for an update. This is hands down the best summer I've had in a long time. The last 2 years I felt so rished with everything. Working those stupid grants, rushing from Sydney, to East Bay, and Irish Cove. It was all just so hectic. This year, I'm doing things my way. I'm working enough that I have money for university, and some to have fun with, but at the same time I have enough free time to go and chill at the bungalo in East Bay a few times a week. Shauna, although I respect that you had a lot of stuff to do today and yesterday, I still say you're nuts for not coming out and staying the night with us when we asked. Hot damn today was perfect! I was swimming for so long I lost track of time. I'll estimate it at around 2 1/2, maybe 3 hours out in the water and on the raft. I had a great chat with Amy, my friend from Maryland. It was just a great day. I'm teaching a lab tomorrow, then, if it's nice, I'll probably be back to East Bay. I new this summer would be amazing!
