Went to NO, adventures!

We brought Mater to New Orleans today. Her old church is closing and we went to say G'bye! But it appears as though they closed it early, as it was all locked, nobody home. So we said G'bye to the door, which Mater seemed fine about. She was just happy to be back at home, in the city.
It was amazing how she came to life when we got to NO. I understand, as I feel it is my lifeline as well. I can't imagine how she feels, though. A place she's lived all her life, for 80-shhh years. And suddenly she can't be there. What a sucky deal.
Unfortunatly, Clara was a complete ass the whole day. She screamed and kicked me, hit me, was flatout hateful, and thoroughly unpleasent. At Deanie's she screamed and cried, in the car she assaulted me, the way home was one long, loud "AUUUUGHGGHHHGHGH!". Not cool. But Mater couldn't have been happier, and that includes us almost getting squashed flat by a 10-yr-old and his full shopping cart. We even got to see a beautiful little chihuahua. Or however it's spelled.
Things with Jamie seem to be getting a little better. He had an interesting session on Friday, sans me. I am happy cause Dr LadyWoman fussed at him for not being "here" for me. Apparently he's too laid-back and dosen't help out enough with decision-making among other things. She asked him "If one of you were to plan a picnic, who would it be". I laughed. He'd never do something like that. Also if I'm, say, trying to move a large piece of furniture and I'm breaking every bone in my body in the process, he will not help me unless I ask. And I'm not one to ask for help, as I have this thing to push myself to do it, well, myself. Meaning, if someone doesn't want to help, I'm certainly not going to make them and I'll get the job done no matter what. I guess I have a hard time trying to determine if someone wants me to ask for help, or just doesn't want to help. It just seems obvious I would need help moving a cedar robe, and the average person would help simply out of sheer courtesy and common sense, right? I mean, would you ask a "gentleman" to hold a door open for you? Nope. But that theory doesn't apply to Jamie. I've moved many a giant piece of furniture by myself. Anyhoo, he was fussed at for that. When he got back from theropy, he brought us to the park. Yay!
Love!
