Green with envy
I just learned that a couple of friends of mine are going to Dublin this fall for a few days. While there, they are going to see Radiohead & Beck. I want to see Beck. I want to go to Dublin for no particular reason. XD
I also recently learned that my bestest friend* from college is going to Tunisia this summer. I've yet to learn why exactly. Hopefully I'll find out next week.
Finally, today I talked to Dave more about the Norway plans. I convinced him that perhaps the smart thing to do is for both of us to go in the late spring/early summer of next year so that we can "scout it out" for a potential second trip for Dave to travel alone. I asked him if he was planning on getting marketable images from either trip (i.e. waterfowl photos that he can sell to U.S. publications). He said no, that the trip was mostly for fun. So now it looks like I get to go to Norway! That is, of course, if my future job allows me the time off. Ah, I'll figure it out.
*No I don't rank my friends, but I've known her longer than anybody & we're very tight.
