(no subject)
it's about time for my annual livejournal post.
today was 'green' friday if you work for kb toys and 'black' friday if you work for any other retail store. i voluntarily (and by that i mean voluntarily for pay) signed myself up to work at jess' kb store at regency square mall in jax. we opened at 5am, which meant i left st. aug at 3am, which meant i woke up at 1:45am. but like i said i signed myself up for it cause i like working at the toystore when it's all crazy. i guess i made it on 'first coast news' today, so not to brag, but i'm pretty much famous now.
nursing school is almost over! i graduate dec. 14th. i'm finishing up my preceptorship on an internal medicine floor right now with my awesome preceptor. it's crazy because i work fri., sat. sun. 7p-7a so i go to work when it's just getting dark and then get off when the sun is rising and then sleep through the sunlight again.
it's almost time for me to become a real nurse and go out into the real world and get a real J-O-B! i'm still trying to figure that one out. basically i'm trying to figure out where i want to do a year before i do what i really want to do: be a travel nurse and go to hawaii...which i'm totally not even joking about. it's looking like when i graduate i'm going to either:
a. move back to st. aug and work at a hospital in jax
b. stay in tallahassee for another year and work there
c. move to st. aug and work at flagler hospital
man, jak and i were watching this surfing video yesterday and it was making me miss the summer and the beach and st. aug.
