(no subject)
so it's 1:14 on a saturday night and i'm sitting here on my computer and i'm completely exhausted and ready for bed (oh and i stayed in tonight). when did i become so lame? last night i went to two parties and was ready to go home and pass out by like 1. i'm not the hardcore party girl that i once used to be. well, it's a good thing i suppose. i'm sure my liver is thankful.
so i saw 3 births at clinicals this week. the first two i saw the nicu had to be called cause the babies wouldn't start breathing (they both finally did)...so then i decided i may be bad luck and maybe shouldn't watch anymore births...but the last one was okay, so i guess it's all good.
here's how much of a dork i am (as if you really needed me to prove it): i was sitting here with my guinea pig, linus, on my lap and my stethoscope was on the back of my chair, so i decided to try to listen to linus' heart. duncan caught me and took away some major cool points. haha
i got slammed with a shat load of homework this weekend. i spent all day and most of my night doing it and i still have so much to do tomorrow. i am running on homework overload.
it looks like no st. augustine for me next weekend. i have too much school junk and emily wants to leave early on friday and i'll be in clincals til late o'clock.
oh and operation monique cutting back on killing herself is still going pretty well...i broke down last night (cause i was drinking) and smoked too many cigarettes...but before that i hadn't smoked since wednesday and i haven't smoked at all today.
