I woke up to a note on the table that essentially said "Dad wasn't feeling well, went to emergency room, love mom."
Needless to say, this scared the shit out of me. And I just found out that he wasn't just not feeling well... He had a heart attack.
But, I found out due to him calling me from his hospital bed, and he sounds like his usual self. The doctors just want to keep him for another day so they can make sure no major damage was done to his heart or any of its major vessels (which is very important because he had quadruple bypass surgery 15 months ago.)
Well, at least those 4 days in between my bird's tumor and my dad's heart were nice.
