Thanks so much to everyone who showed support for me concerning my little birdie. I'm glad to see you guys understand how precious a good pet really is. I just got off the phone with the vet, and the surgery went very well. He didn't lose much blood, and he's up and around at the hospital.
...But the vet said that the tumor "doesn't look too happy." In other words, its not one of the benign fatty tumors cockatiels are prone to getting. So now I have to wait until Thursday to pick him up, and until next Tuesday for the biopsy results. It might still be benign, but there's a good chance it isn't.

And work is very stressful already. I just learned how to handle a couple tough jobs, and the preoccupation doesn't help at all. I really shouldn't be on LJ right now, but I just had to get this out in the open somewhere.
