Meanwhile, much craziness has ensued:
For awhile there, it looked like we weren't going to get anyone to take the apartment. Then, at the last minute, it went through.
On the way down here, my grandfather died. We ended up having to come right back up to michigan for the funeral and assorted stuff. :/
David and I BOTH got the flu. :(((
When the cable guys got here to put in our employee comp services, we didnt have the tv's unloaded, so all they could put in was the modem, and activate the outlets for basic cable. The digital box and the dvr will have to go in later. :(
But on a happier note, my work folks have been very nice, and gave me the bereavement time to get accomplished whatever needed done, paid time.
The deposit for the electricity wasnt anywhere near the huge deposit i was afraid it was going to be. In fact, it was kinda small, comparitively. I hope this is a good sign. :)))
