For starters,
they so went there. But
this guy bought property.
Random comment for the day: I'm so glad that there are more Wolf & Spice icons out there. Personally, I've reached my limit and beyond, but I'm just glad that more people are into it. ^-^ (And I saw a Fifth Element icon post somewhere, which was freaking rad.)
AND NOW, ONTO MEME PARADISE.
a. People who have been tagged must write their answers on their blog and replace any question that they dislike with a new, original question.
b. Tag eight people. Don't refuse to do that. Don't tag who tagged you.
1. What are you listening to right now?
Ali Project's Peony Pink.
2. How do you style your hair?
Bun, 24/7. Unless I'm wearing my sexy compact Snuggie hat. That's about the only time I let it down. Cosplaying Marie doesn't count.
3. What are you wearing right now?
Jeans. Long-sleeved black shirt. Dadio's huge button-up shirt that makes me look like a painter. Brown eyeball ring. Skull♥ Rocketdogs.
4. What are you currently reading?
Girl, Going on 17: Pants on Fire, by Sue Limb; and Wicked, by Macguire. I really need to finish that so I can get on with Son of a Witch....
5. Dumbest thing you've done this week?
Take your pick: saying dare when Sensei asked us what the word for "where" is (um, doko, you idiot self) or when Marma and I were going driving and I mistook right for left.
6. Have you named your computer? If so what's its name?
Of course! Who hasn't? His name is Frederick the Scourge.
7. Theme song playing in the background as you die?
Samurai Mania, courtesy of Orange Range. I've actually written a will in my cell phone that says this.
8. The most stressful thing right now in your life?
My current D in Physics. I'm not sure why that trumps the F in English, but it does.
9. What is your all time favorite movie?
Oh, that's hard. Um... it's probably gotta be The Importance of Being Earnest. You can never go wrong with Firth.
A second close would have to be Van Helsing.
10. What is your weirdest habit?
If I tap or move one side of my body a certain way, I have to do the same thing to the other, or I feel like I'm "not being fair" to the "neglected" side. Like, if I tap the nails of my right hand against a counter top in rapid succession three times, I have to do the same for the left side, or I'll never stop thinking about it. And if I have a nail bitten off one hand, I have to do the math to find out how many taps on each side would equal the other if I continue the rapid succession.
I don't quite know what's wrong with me.
11. What is your favorite color?
Brown. But lately, I've been insanely absorbed in all things pink...
12. How much money do you think you are worth?
76 cents. I know for a fact because once I found an orange sticker on my person that told me so.
13. What's the weirdest thing you say in RL?
"Ich bin deine schmeckende Affe."
14. Which languages do you wish you spoke?
Russian and Chinese. I already attend my dream Japanese and German classes, and my good friend has taken it upon himself to teach me Mandarin, so I'm well on my way. And luckily for me, at a local community college (that I WON'T be attending, but I might take an AP class) teaches Russian.
15. What is your biggest pet peeve?
When I ask someone's opinion and the words they deem fit to utter are
"I don't care. You decide."
16. What's your ideal weapon?
Lightning.
I mean, seriously. You can have all the shiny blades and huge zanpakuto you want, but when lightning's on your tail, it take freaking fate and a whole lotta Jesus to keep you from being roasted long pork.
17. Who was your childhood idol?
ASH KETCHUM, POKEMON TRAINER.
18. Funniest movie quote you've ever heard?
Stan: "It's every man's right to have babies if he wants them."
Reg: "But you can't have babies."
Stan: "Don't you oppress me."
Reg: "Where's the fetus going to gestate? You going to keep it in a box?"
-The Life of Brian
19. If you were in a band, what kind of music would you play and what instrument would you want to play?
I would love to be in an alternative band and play the bass, but I would be more likely to sing country.
20. Tell me something you love about the person who tagged you.
I've yet to be tagged. It's me doing the tagging here. I assign this meme to:
bitchfitdeidara yoroshiqueen mirai_noah cjblackwing bombshellrecord hyatt_ayanami spiritualenergy ilikebigtoes Kidnapped without Ruth ruthlessly from
knuxlover .
1.Why do you write fanfiction? What made you start?
Why? Because it's awesome.
Actually, turns out I started writing fanfiction before I knew what fanfiction was. When I was around ten years old, I started writing separate Harry Potter scenarios and sent them to J.K. Rowling's Scholastics address. That was waaay back when I thought the internet was full of useless crap and unworthy of my time. (The one time I turned out to be wrong, eh,
yoroshiqueen ? XD)
2. Slash, Het, or Gen?
What about yuri? D8
Slash is okay, but I'm not big on reading it, and I've never written it (if, by slash, that means "explicit." Because I've written shonen ai comedies.) I'm more of a visual person when it comes to yaoi. But I never look at IRL slash. Just the cartoon stuff. (<-- hardcore fictophile)
Het is the shiz. I can't imagine life without it. (Obviously...)
Gen is cool if it's good. And funny. Because angsty gen is as boring as a chocolate muffin without the chocolate.
3. What fandoms do you write in?
Oh. Uh. Inuyasha, Sonic the Hedgehog, Naruto, Pokemon, Yu Yu Hakusho, Misc. Books, Tsubasa Chronicle, Bleach, Pirates of the Caribbean, Harry Potter, Fairy Tales, Detective Conan/Case Closed, CSI: Miami, Ouran High School Host Club, Vampire Doll, Avatar: Last Airbender, Law of Ueki, Camp Lazlo, Misc. Anime/Manga, Read or Die, Scooby Doo, Final Fantasy VII, Kingdom Hearts, Hellboy, Soul Eater, and Dazzle. Copy-pasted from my ff.n.
4. What fandoms do you read in?
Waaay more than the above list. But for the most part, just Bleach, Soul Eater, Dazzle, Maximum Ride, and Naruto.
5. What's the worst story you've ever written?
There's no way I can list them all. But probably one that I wrote a looong time ago that I deleted as soon as I came to my senses. It was a self-insert InuYasha. =_=u I actually changed my username to rid myself of the shame. And I've changed ti twice since that first change. I believe myself to be thoroughly hidden now. XD
6. What writers are your inspiration?
James Patterson, for sure. Akira (the author of Kyouran Kazoku Nikki). Sue Limb, J. K. Rowling, Patricia C. Wrede, L. A. Meyer, and if I really went on, this list would never end. Fanfiction-wise,
firefly,
syaoran no hime, and
fallacy really get me working my hardest lots of the time because of their epicness. And
GirlquinndreameR's taste in fandom is uncannily similar to mine that I find it scary. And wonderful. I just find so many inspiring authors that there's no way I can do them all justice.
I absolutely take my hat off to
vague.poppyseed, who wrote the first shoujo ai that I've ever read. I could only stand it because she wrote it. No other reason.
7. WIPS or completed stories only?
In reading, I don't really have a preference. Both have their downfalls. Like, WIPs are fun to read, and you have stuff to look forward to in the future, but you could get strung up and restless waiting for updates. Completed ones, though, it's like... "Nuuues! I'm getting this much closer to the end!" and that's all you can think about while reading it.
In reading, I sincerely try my best NOT to write multichaps, because I am absolutely the worst when it comes to updating things. I'll get a chapter idea in my head and immediately cringe and ask myself if I can possibly turn it into a oneshot never to be dealt with again. So I aim for oneshots. The slacker's choice.
