Good start.

Did very little this weekend, and it was exactly what I needed.

-Slept. Loads. Bliss!
-Did laundry. Mostly. Will fold. Eventually.
-Bought $86 worth of stuff at Kohl's for $1.40. Yay bras! Yay Kohl's cash!
-Two hour dance class in preparation for a performance next weekend
-Procured a gold cane and black harem pants to complete new performance ensemble
-Had a lovely chat with mom on Mother's Day. Giggled over silly things.
-Drank tasty beverages at Intergalactic Brewing with friends who are moving to OH
-Giggled my way through Age of Ultron with friends. Brandished Mjolnir at appropriate times.
-Started working on Bach's B Minor Mass. By "working on" I mean listening to recording and muttering along. I mostly remember the Kyrie. W00t.

This week is the Big Lecture Series. Or rather, tomorrow, Tuesday, and Wednesday are the Big Lecture Series. People have sent e-mails to my personal e-mail address to complain about the final schedule. Never mind that they were sent a draft schedule days ago and didn't say anything about it then. I am ignoring these emails until I am in my freaking office tomorrow morning and reminding the guilty parties not to use my personal e-mail address EVER. It will not help.

Tomorrow night, I will be rehearsing Mozart, and only Mozart. BLISS. It's so nice to work on only Mozart, as opposed to first working on Mozart for an hour and then an hour of Orff and then an hour of Verdi. I can't celebrate too much because I need to be working on Bach on my own, but it's good. A decided improvement. Maybe I can actually switch some of that mental bandwidth back to writing and editing stuff at long last!

Fingers crossed. Sleep now.

Love to All!
