Well....now that my massive hard on from the FIRST seeing of Lord of the Rings has died...i can finally see the computer screen and update my livejournal, eh?
Lessee here...Fist semester of the school year is done. my last night in the dorms, Lord of the Rings came out...a large group of us saw it...and I have seen it twice more since then. It has now tied for my favorite movie of all time.
Then, I went home. Within 24 hours, I found out my mom's cousin has cancer again after being cancer free for 13 years...but there's a good chance she'll be alright. If not...she's got 18-24 months. I don't talk about her much, but she is awesome...and thinks of me and my sisters as her own kids, since she doesn't have any. I hope she'll be alright. THAT WAS THE FIRST BIT OF NEWS I GOT.
Then, I found out the next afternoon (but still within taht 24 hour period), that I no longer had a job at blockbuster due to the fact that they no longer do seasonal work, after i had been told i could become a seasonal worker. So, I've been unemployed till now. Tomarrow i go fill out the re-hiring forms...that's right, i sucked the rigid rod of satan and asked for my job back at any cost (which is my weekends pretty much...).
Half an hour after that blow, i find out a friend of mine in mississippi got into a car accident and is paralyzed from the waist down.
That's how i started my Christams Vacation.
That was a fun day.
Ever since then, it's been a rather boring vacation. Christmas was cool...got beer, a paintball gun, and one of my presents was wrapped in porn...so it was indeed a complete holiday. got clothes and some other cool stuff too...but that combination is just too classic!
I spent New years with Billie's Family up in Green Bay. I am so golden with the family that supposedly doesn't like boyfriends too much. GOOD SIGN! I accidentally left some stuff up there, and her mom was like "oh so he has to come back up then!!!"
So yeah, overall it's been a great vacation, despite the ups and downs of the first day, followed by the mediocrity of pretty much all the other days.
Now i have two projects for those days where i'm not working though. My old scripts (a science fiction, and a war one) that i've been working on since 8th grade are going to be rewritten, and worked on. I realized today taht within the past 3 and a half months, the basis of those two films have occured....so i'm feeling more motivated to get them done finally. so, i'm off to go get some rest before a day of working on those!
