Well, Gitchimanitu made his/her revenge upon me after my extremely blasphemous jokes this morning (against the Indian Philosophy)....my film which is due in....10 hours is going to come out as complete BLACK (on black and white film...batting 50%, right?). I was reading the light meter wrong, and used the high slide reading instead of the normal (technical stuff, basically I majorly Fucked UP!)
Of course, I did not realize this until FINISHING my most thougth out, planned, and well made film to date (that i've done outside of collaborative film class). I STORYBOARDED THE FILM FOR CHRIST'S SAKE! I NEVER STORY BOARD!!! STORYBOARDING IS NOT IN MY NATURE! IT GOES AGAINST THE WAY I WAS TAUGHT! WE spent 4 HOURS stop motion animating a clown hanging itself...which is beautiful in and of itself (i'm a disturbed little child..aren't i?),....and now it's beauty will not be able to be held by the public...FOUR HOURS!
we are reshooting tomarrow afternoon...but still...i'd feel better if it were done now. hopefully the teacher will understand....and will allow me the 4 hours to do it (should only take 2 this time, we know what we're doing now).
I really don't want to change majors...i really don't.... but it's looking more and more likely that i will have to....which sucks ASS because filmmaking is the onlything i've ever truely been good at. Apparently not good enough though....
Sorry if i'm a bit pessamistic at the moment...this just pissed the living fuck outa me. And ironically, i was only distraught....not pissed. I paniced....then jeff and billie calmed me down, and now i've got a game plan....let's just hope it works out. Right now....I'm just mad at myself for making such a stupid mistake after 3 years of doing this shit.
