I can't believe it's almost 2 months since my last post! I blame it on the hot weather, which killed pretty much all my desire to open photoshop (or do anything for that matter lol). Thank God, or should I say jsfunction for creating somein30 which peaked my interest and inspired me to make some icons again. I've always liked working on a set and

Thanks so much for entering, I'm super happy that we managed to inspire you for a full set of twenty! This post is such a glorious explosion of colors and compositions, I'm in love with everything! Somehow this looks like a cohesive post even though the prompts were all over the place, so great job on that :D

Ok, I guess I should pick a few favorites even though they're litelly all amazing. First of all you did amazing with all color explosions (wow you got a lot of this theme!), the colorings and color combinations in particular in these are all excellent. The text work is out of this world of course, I especially adore it on 9 and 16, where it perfectly accentuates the posteresque look - love the primary color combo here and the blocking is awesome, this one might be my favorite of them all, if I have to pick just one, it's just perfect. 11 is also suuuuper pretty, love the composition, it's somehow complex and minimalistic at the same time. And 15 is absolutely amazing, the lighting is incredible and the spot on sharpness and contrast and texture work just give it this extra HQ look. Gorgeous!!

I also love 21 and 23-24 from the alts. All the misc icons are awesome too, my faves are 32, 35, 42, 47 (love the crop and intense coloring) and 48.

Well, I kinda forgot that the icons had to be in order so I made some I really liked and then I had to fill in the gaps :D And I'm glad everything fits the themes, because I was on the fence for some of them.

Lol at the color explosions, for someone that usually sticks to one color for their icons it was definitely a challenge. And they all ended up the same, I was lucky that 13 looked great with green too :D And yay for picking 16 as your favourite, it's mine too and that prompt gave me most trouble, but at the end it was worth it. Also yay for 15, it's the odd one out and I felt it didn't really fit the set overall, but I was really happy with it, so decided to keep it.
