He is.
I also love the actor even though he is German, i usually don't like my own home countries actors XD

I'm not very familiar with German actors either, but I've seen him previously in Die Welle and in Freier Fall and love him since :D

You haven't missed much XD
There aren't a lot of good german actors. Maybe that's because we tend not to make good movies.
A friend of mine and i have seen Freier Fall two weeks ago. It wasn't bad.
Haven't seen Die Welle yet.
But i read the books in school.

If there are others like Max, I don't wanna miss them :D
And Die Welle was pretty great, we watched it in one of my German classes in school :D

Oh you take German as foreign language?
The only other actors i can recommend are Ken Duken, Daniel Brühl (althougt technically he is Spanish XD), Kostja Uhlmann and i like Sebastian Strobel a lot but unfortunately he has a bad taste in movies XD.
I only really loved one tv show he made.

Ich habe Deutsch 8 Jahren gelernt. Aber ich habe es vergessen, weil ich lange Zeit kein Deutsch gesprochen habe xD
I'll definitely check these out, I'm tired of seeing the same actors in everything I watch :D I need some fresh faces! xD

That was pretty impressive. *gg*
Any particular reason why you did take German?
If you wanna try something new try Störtebecker with Ken Duken first, if you can get your hands on that one.
I am a huge Störebecker fan. We actually have been to the isle of Rugia in the Baltic Sea were they have a huge outdoor stage. so their plays are on the stage and they have a actual ship they sail on the Baltic Sea to the set. It's pretty impressive. And i would like to go more often. Looks like this.
Maybe you have heard of the famous german pirate of the 14th century?

My first Brühl movie was "Der ganz große Traum".

And if you wanna try another one it's more like a romantic comedy but i love it its with Kostja Ullman and called "Groupies bleiben nicht zum Frühstück".

Oh btw have you seen "Heiter bis Wolkig" with Max Riemelt?

Thanks :D
It was obligatory to take it in my school, so I didn't have any choice, but I grew up to really like it :D
I'll try to find these in the torrent sites, hopefully with a few seeders.
I haven't watched "Heiter bis Wolkig", but I was planning to watch "Im Angesicht des verbrechens", the only problem is I can't seem to find it for download or when I find it, there are no seeders :(

Oh i didn't know that.
I assumed it's mandatory to take languages like English, french etc.
I had to take english and could decide between french and russian.
I took russian. But please don't ask me to say something. It's pretty much gone XD

Oh yeah it's pretty hard to come by german movies :/
We have a very odd movie policy. For example if something aired on german tv you only can watch it up to 7 days after it aired. After that it's gone.
We are fighting for a 30 day extension but it's hard.
Sometimes we Germans are waaaaay to complicated.
I just had a look at Netflix Germany but unfortunately not one of the movies is on there...

For me it was German and English and German is the second most popular foreign language in the schools in my country.

Oh, I know. I've friends, who study in Germany and they can't watch anything without paying for it. So many times I've send them movies or tv show episodes over skype :D
And btw after a long night, I finally found "Im Angesicht des Verbrechens" and I'll probably watch it over the weekend :D

German is not that easy to learn, especially with der die das and the other stuff ( ... )

Yep, it's definitely not easy and it requires constant practice in order not to forget it (like it happened with me). I can still understand some things and even say some simple things, but it's not like before when I could speak it freely and understand most of it. I'm planning on taking a refreshing course in German, because I don't want all my hard work to be wasted :D

Yes, I've been in Germany once, but it was so long like 7-8 years ago. We visited Muenchen and the castles around it. Neuschwanstein was great! ♥

I'll definitely let you know what I think, when I watch it, but the premise seems interesting to me and it has Max Riemelt, so I expect to like it :D

I recently graduated, I have bachelor degree in International Economic Relations, but I work as software tester for more than 2 years.
There are plenty of other places I'd like to visit, I just hope I'll get the chance someday. But Munich was a great experience and seems like a town, I'd really like to live in.

Yeah, he's the main character in the show :D He's pretty young there though, it doesn't look much like him lol :D
