So everyone is doing those "Places I have been to Maps" and honestly I don't really remember where I have been or need to go still. Oh the multi layer meanings.
So I pull up the route66 map thing and started guessing, and thinking about flight layovers and whether that counts as really having been somewhere. Probably not.
Like Minnesota. Just about the only thing I can think about as a benefit to MN is Wally Szczerbiak. And I spelled it correctly too, referencing the Timberwolves webpage. I have stopped over at MSP a few times but never made it outside of the airport. And now Wacko lives there. Go figure. "Minnesota*? Minnesota is just this place that gets in the way when you are trying to get somewhere."

Being born and raised in San Francisco is like being born on Mt. Olympus and being told that there are other places out there but they are filled with mere mortals. I live in one of those random states now. Oregon. Some people pronouce it "Or-eh-gone" to which natives say "Or-eh-gone... where did it go?" So they have these nifty t-shirts that exclaim "Orygun."
It is so cold right now I am typing with makeshift popsicles on my fingertips whereas my friends in San Diego and Hawaii and Florida are probably suffering from heat exhaustion. Pick your poison.

Oh damn I guess I should have talked about my new guy. Thing is, I have not come up with a name for him yet. Maybe next time...
