Yesterday started out like any normal day and but it turned into a day of much suckage. Hans had to go to his well baby exam which confirmed what I thought, he still has an ear infection in both ears and secondly he had to get his immunization shots. So, the initial exam went well he is healthy, besides having a double ear infection. Then came the shots and the TB test, the TB test went without a hitch no tears or screams but the immunizations shots? Well, there were screams but no tears I think he was more pissed off at being held down then getting the shots. So, that was that was that right? Wrong!
After a relaxing late lunch from our favorite diner Main Street Lunch we went to fill Hans new prescription of antibiotics for his ears and guess what? I was informed I had no coverage from the pharmacy. WTF! So, after using three hours on my cell phone talking to various people I was told I had coverage but I would need to speak to the cobra department but every time I was transferred I was disconnected. So, I called today talked to someone again who PROMISED someone would call me in the next hour. Well that was four hours ago and still no call. I HATE UNICARE. I guess after I post this I should call again, explain myself to various times three to four people and then be put on hold and hopefully get this cluster fuck take care of. And the keyword here is hopefully.
While I was dealing with Unicare I also went to Sprint to have my new phone turned on which should have taken about ten minutes actually took an hour and half but I am looking on the bright side and thanking god my phone is at least turned on. The sad part I don't know who they hire over at Sprint but it took six people who tried to turn on the phone and finally someone figured out the problem and fixed it, but they had to call customer service which I could have done in the first place.
And lastly because this is Holy Week, in preparation of Easter I went to confession last night with a cranky baby. Two and half hours after waiting I finally got to see a priest with Hans in tow and during my confession Hans peed on me Yay! That was the icing on the cake to a day of much suckage. Fortunately Hans went to sleep when we got home and I was able to watch a few episodes of Dr. Who season two, so at least my craptacular day ended on a good note.
I so need a vacation.
