by the way...
are there ANY jobs out there for college kids w/ barely any work experience that don't involve being a salesperson or waitress??? any? despite the fact that i suppose i could file papers at a doctor's office or something... but then again, i don't know of any close to here that may be hiring...
meh, goodnight.

When, and if, and I hope is soon. I will probably find a new job, and you could do sales floor, or flow team, and just stock the floor. Although I know you said no sales floor, but as lame, and cheese as it sounds helping people is really cool and rewarding.

actually, i would prefer sales floor over cashier...
it's the register i don't want to deal with, not helping people! lol.
my favorite thing to do at work is help people find things (provided everything is actually somewhat organized...) and talk to them, of course...

Come in and push for it, and make sure you ephasise your experience in retail. Also, when need be, and that is not always. You would be able to help us back upte front end. You can start at 7 or even more, other than that they could tell you everything, and anything else you would need to know, and my schedule is pretty good. I know you might not be looking for as much, but I normally do about 23 hours a week since I go to school. They always need someone to restock the shelves in the evening or night. They should be able to give you less hours and such since I know you will want them. I mean come on the dog, the red, the khaki. I mean come on, come on. LoL I stop the pestering now. Have a good one, don't get me wrong I am not overwhelming happy there, but they do treat us good, and pay is decent, and they give nice breaks, and you can request almost anytime during like the second week of january to the end of november off, and get special permitions for the black out dates if you really need them. I think is six months and ( ... )

Well I scrubbed toilets at nights at an office building all last quarter and next quarter I'm a dishwasher at a dining hall on campus. Those aren't being salesperson or waitress. :P

Beggers can't be choosers.

I have need of a part-time lady to unbox and rack fashions at Sears. My receiving guys are strong and good at unloading trucks and putting stock up and loading 25 cu ft fridges on customers' trucks. But, they pretty much stink at doing fashions, after a hard days work and unloading a full tractor trailer. I'm tired too. So, I have one part-timer lady doing fashions now - just need another. Light work. Girl work - ha! Joking, all you femenists put your stones down. Fact is, my guys stink at it - no 2 ways about it.

But, on a less optimistic note - you, my dear, are over 500 miles too far to be at work on time each day.

Hope you find a good one there though!

oooo pick me pick me! You can come work with me! lol, two girls are leaving so two part time (like 4 or 5 hours 2 or 3 days a week) positions are opening up, it may be more hours sometimes, but I'm not certain! One is leaving the older toddler room and the other is just a sub for wherever!
