I commend you for your good attitude and humility.

Remember this: sin is pleasurable for season, as scripture says. I too liked seeing the smiles and spending time with extended family I rarely go to see. But, now that I look back, I wasn't helping them be truly full of JOY in any way by celebrating a pagan holiday with them. Those smiles will not matter at judgment. Having a temporary good time will not be remembered in the end.

You are a merciful person. Which is good and the way you were created. We should be merciful toward each other as we are commanded to by our Master. Don't confuse your merciful tendency for love, however. Love is correctly defined in scripture. And, as you mature in Messiah, you will be able to direct the mercy Yah gave you in a proper direction in a proper way. There is no greater mercy than that Yah should send his Word and Sacrifice to give us redemption from our sin. Mercy does not leave one floundering in their sin. Mercy does everything possible to rescue people from sin. Though at this time, it may not be evident to one like yourself with much mercy and a big heart, that ones like myself are actually applying as much mercy as can be gathered in us to warn our brothers and sisters of Adam-kind to flee the snares of the evil one. It breaks my heart to see most of my family of Adam being led astray to destruction.

Remember that, and don't let TRUTH become unimportant thus causing mercy to be misdirected. Such misdirected mercy will only soothe people in their sin who need to be uncomfortable there and so come out.

If Israel would obey their King and Creator, we'd all be gathering together at the set-appointed feasts, which are much more joyous, with much more meaning to our Faith, than the pagan substitutes. For example, we are commanded to feast for 7 days for Tabernacles and have a final Last Great day of the year on the 8th day. (this is when Messiah was born, the first of Tabernacles and circumcised the 8th day). In other words, we get to CAMP OUT TOGETHER FOR A WHOLE WEEK REMEMBERING THE GREAT GIFT OF MESSIAH and that through him Yah delivers us from Egypt (the world system) to be in his PROMISED LAND forever. Passover is another seven day feast in the spring when we are to gather together, celebrating the LAMB THAT WAS SLAIN and that he removes the leaven (sin) from our lives. And that in so doing, we have the hope of resurrection to life, that death may passover us at judgment.

If we'd all just obey the Master, we'd have much more fun worshipping in Spirit and Truth at Yah's appointed times. But the churches are telling everyone that their "Jesus" did away with all of that joyous gathering for worship in favor of pagan holidays. That ought to warn us as to the counterfeit and who's behind it!

Keep seeking and you will find TRUTH. We are all seeking and at different places in that persuit. You are my sister in Faith and I know that as such, you are destined to be in the remnant spoken of in scripture. May it be according to Father's will!

With love in Messiah!
