Will the snow ever be gone? I think so, but certainly not anytime soon.
Well, today has been just like the others pretty much during my spring break. Lots of time spent doing a lot of nothing. I got my financial aid stuff done, thankfully. I've got to get to that spring cleaning I promised myself I'd do. :)
I'm kind of worried about some things right now. Can't talk about all of them. But I'm just glad that God is there and he's helping me. I was reading Brio last night, and all the while still worrying about what I was going to do with my life, and, lo and behold, I turn the page and there's this article talking about "who you want to be when you grow up." It really gave me the message that God is telling me to wait, be patient, and trust the Lord. So that's what I'm trying to do.
There's really not much to say.....I guess there's one little story I'll tell you... but you have to promise not to make fun of me! lol :) Last night I went with my mom to get groceries in Mt. Pleasant. We went to Meijer, and once inside we realized we had forgotten out grocerie list in the van. So I took the keys and went back out to get it. Well, I tried to open the van on the driver's side door, and it wouldn't work. I tried the passenger's side, that didn't work either. I figured the locks were frozen or something. And someone's horn kept honking, I was wondering why. Anyway, So then I went to the back and tried that lock, thankgoodness, it opened! So I went to the driver's side and opened the door. And I smelled smoke!!!! I looked around, and realized it wasn't our van!!!!!! I had opened someone else's van! (It was then I realized the horn honking was the saftey mechanizm that was going off from the van I was "breaking" into!)I quickly shut the door and realized our van was the one next to it! I felt so embarrased! I tried to turn away from the other people in the parking lot looking over my way (or so I thought). Well, I opened our van and practically ran through the slush back into Meijer's. I told my mom and she couldn't believe it. We were actually pretty worried because if I could open someone else's van with our keys, there's a chance someone could do the same to our van. That will be the last time I ever go to try and open our van or any of our vehicles without checking the liscence plate! Man! What a night!
Well, that's it for now, hope you enjoyed my little story, probably the most exciting thing that's happened to me all week! lol, have fun all.
