Hello Hello....another weekend has gone by...but today i realized that I only have 4 more weeks left at my internship so i am super happy about that!! Things have been ok at the internship. My boss looked over my stuff and told me to make corrections which i did already. I am just waiting on him to do this one thing with my project and then i can start preparing for my presentation which is to be given in front of all the managers on August 16th.
I am also going to be working more hours at greenline since my sister left PA early to go to RI. Her boyfriend picked her up Saturday so she'll be staying at his apartment until school starts the first week of September...or whenever their move in date is for her school. I am glad she left because I knew she was unhappy here because of being away from her bf...also I have to admit i was acting too much like a mom towards her instead of just being a sister..so that caused some problems when she was here. but all should be well now that she is back in RI because i always say that we get a long a lot better when we are apart.
I had a fun filled weekend. On thursday jess and i saw Harry Potter. Some people complained about it being boring...but HELLO if you read the books you would know why it wasnt as action packed as the other movies. I thought it was great like always. On Saturday Blanton, our friend Troy, and I saw Transformers. LOONNGGG movie but it was still good. The special effects were good i just wish it wasnt 2.5 hours long! Before we went to the movies we went to a mexican restaurant called El Rodeo where i got myself a margarita...i love those things :)
Blanton has also been making me draw more too. I dont blame him because I need to practice before I take that darn class in the fall. I was thinking a lot about how this is the last semester before i step out into the real world...and get a job. ya ya ya i will still be doing master's classes but during the day i will be working 8-5 or whenever. it really is scary when you sit and think about it. if y oure like me this is your last summer where you have the whole summer off from anything. sure you might work part time...but for the most part you are on a vacation from life. that will change because by this time next year unless youre going to be a teacher..you can say goodbye to your summer and all your other breaks like thanksgiving, winter, and spring. Ive been looking at jobs too while at my internship just to see whats out there. If i want to get into marketing as an entry level job i might need to do sales...but im trying to get aroound that by possibly starting off as a marketing assistant and just move up from there. I might even settle and do an adminstrative assistant position first since I have the experience..thanks to greenline. I t hink ill start looking for some full time work at the end of november/ december to hopefully start January 1st..heck December 20th if they need me (day after my graduation).
Other than that i am just chillin...looking forward to vegas! my mom thinks im going to spend all my money there, but me and blanton only want to go to the strip for one night and even then we will only play a certain amount of money. soooo ya...well im going to go and draw something..ttyl
