I think I have finally recovered from the weekend. It was a bit stressful and I had a cold too but things needed to be done. Like moving

Slipped in a visit to Basingstoke on Saturday night and got horribly drunk because I'd forgotten I hadn't eaten much all day. But I wasn't the drunkest person in the room - that was Darran's dad Alan. I've been drunk with Alan a few times now but it still feels just a little wrong - he's a friend's dad, he shouldn't be that drunk or funny!
Which led me to thinking what kind of parent do I want to be when I have kids? Am I going to be the laid back do what you want in the house because at least then I know where you are parent? Am I going to be really strict? Are my kids going to bring their friends over and are they going to be embarrassed that I'm still up and having a vodka and coke? Will Andy and I ever agree on how to bring up children? Hmm scary stuff...
