A lot of creative people find they work better in the evening. It's better than not being able to be creative at all. So quit your whinin' :P

I do indeed work better in the evening. But I also like to be able to sleep without having songs blaring in my head at very loud volumes.

Ah, but given the choice between that and no creativity at all, it wouldn't be hard, would it?

True. I'd far rather miss out on a few hours sleep than not be able to do anything ever. It also helps to to break out of a mold that I tend to use when composing uninspired.

It may switch a bit as you get older. May not, though.
