The last day of August.....
I had to go to the DMV today at lunch. It was the first time in a very long time that I've been there.
Of course it's the last day of the month and it's at lunch time so it's quite busy. I walk up to the lady near the front door, tell her what I need to do and she hands me a number.
At the same time they announce "Now serving Number 327".
I look down at my number..... 824.
