So I've decided to stay at UM. I looked into transfering to a few schools (notably emory and columbia) and I found out that all the schools I'm interseted in do not accept more than 60 transfer credits. The problem is, if I were to transfer, I'd have 87 credits when I did, so I'd have to sacrifice 27 credits. 27 credits is one class away from a major, and it's not worth it to lose an entire major to transfer. Also, it seems like transfer students get shit for financial aid anyway. I talked to two transfer students here, and they don't even have a scholarship to UM.
Anywhot, speaking of majors, I've decided to take up an english major. This is in addition to my Biology major and my Mircobiology and Immunology major (though I may drop one of the science majors to a minor.) I think I'd have a more well rounded med school application with an english and science major, than two closely related science majors. Though, depending on the classes UCF offers over the summer, I may be able to squeeze in all three majors at the same time. I only have one general education class left to take, so I've pretty much got two years to do major related stuff (not to mention I'm 3 classes away from finishing my bio major.)
So as it stands I aim to graduate with:
Majors: English, Biology, Microbilogy and Immunology.
Minor: Chemistry.
on a seperate note, bears rock.
