This is even worse that a software shrink-wrap license. I just bought a new
Line 6 guitar amp; the owner's manual ("Pilot's Handbook") is sealed inside an envelope with a sticker that reads:
IMPORTANT!
By breaking this seal, you are agreeing to the terms of the end user license agreement that is located inside the Pilot's Handbook. If you do not agree to the terms of the end user agreement, do not break the seal and open this bag.
That's right; you can't see the terms you're supposedly agreeing to until you've already taken the action they claim indicates your agreement. Does anyone take this seriously? What about the law don't I understand that makes this make sense?
