"Hey, it's me. Something strange happened. It's not my fault, but he got loose and tried to terrorize the squirrels. But here's the crazy thing. The squirrels actually talked to him and got him to stop being kind of a jerk to them. And things were getting better, for them at least. Well, long story short, he's King of the Squirrels now, so we're all kind of under his iron paw now. That happened fast and nobody saw it coming."

Cade was starting to catch on about the phones, but was having too much fun not to keep it going.

So when he got someone's shopping list, he had to add to it:

"Oh definitely get the chocolate donuts, man. The powdered sugar ones make you look like you've been doing drugs karking badly."

Zhahar had the phone when she got the voicemail notification. If nothing else, today had been very useful about teaching them how to use a phone. "Hopefully this makes you feel better, but I don't think there's a memory spell gone...wonky. But, I guess I wouldn't remember if there were. Huh."
