Room 229- Friday afternoon
Maddie had felt really weird about changing anything in the room when Gert wasn't coming back, and today was the day she decided that she was actually allowed to do that and it wouldn't make her a horrible person. She only had a couple more months here, and after sharing a room for a year with another person and a dinosaur, there was nothing wrong with taking advantage of the extra space.
So that was what she was doing today. It was going to be a day spent redecorating and moving things around, and trying not to think that she'd only be undoing it all in August. She wasn't doing anything like pushing the beds together or anything. That did still feel weird.
