Since she didn't have any powers these days, eventually everything about Maddie's body returned to normal, including the need for glasses. Which was annoying, but she'd figured that she could put at least a little tiny bit of what money she'd made working for Jeremy towards those magical things called contacts, so at least she could look the way she wanted.
She was remembering just how annoying the glasses were as she was trying to pack for the trip at the last minute, sliding down every time she bent to put something in her suitcase. And she was doing a lot of that, since she kept changing her mind on what to bring about every minute or so. She had a horrible feeling this was going to end with her closet packed. At least she didn't have a whole lot of clothes?
