ooc: all the bandwagons!

-From X-Men (616 universe), and came in from after the six-issue Mekanix series. She's an ex-X-Man at this point, and her feelings on that whole thing are Complicated.
-20 years old and sort of calling herself a college dropout at this point.
-Manages Caritas, with a regular shift on Tuesdays.
-5'6", 110 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. She tends to be a jeans and t-shirt kind of girl most of the time, though if she's at work she's almost always dressed in black and leather and kind of revealing. I tend to describe the wtfier stuff because frankly her fashion sense amuses me.
-Is a mutant who can walk through walls. Or people. Or random objects. Her natural state is intangible, allowing her to pass through objects by manipulating molecules, called phasing, and she's basically solid by sheer force of will. She can seemingly walk on air, or through water or fire without harm, and disrupts electronics when she phases through them. She's also able to take other people or objects with her when she does it as long as she had physical contact with them. Kitty also automatically goes intangible when there's trouble as a protective measure, so you can't hurt her most of the time. You also can't read her mind when she's intangible, which is handy.
-She's very open about being a mutant, but she's only told two people about the superhero thing. See above, re: complicated feelings.
-Was once brainwashed into being a ninja, and then got more training from Wolverine in a bunch of different martial arts. She's more likely to yell at you than kick your ass, though.

-Has a purple alien dragon as a pet. Not in Fandom at the moment, because they weren't really consistent with him at this point in canon, but he shows up sometimes.

She's way way after cataclysmicluck and suitablyheroic. God, I love Star Wars.

-Will tolerate you mistaking her for Alex once. After that, she'll think you're an idiot who can't notice hair.
-Feel free to call her Sia. She doesn't care.
-Is a princess over in the Empire who's been living in exile for the last four years after the Sith took over. She tries to keep this as quiet as possible due to that threat of torture and death by Sith and having so many people from her galaxy around. I'm totally open to people finding out, though it might make her even cagier.
-Generally her background means while she has the princess tude, she's smart and capable and totally willing to get her hands dirty.
-Is in training to be an Imperial Knight, which means she has the same powers as a Jedi, but if you call her a Jedi, she'll correct you.
-Is really serious and one of the most stubborn people you will ever run across. She has high standards and expects you to have them too. Half her threads end in debates and it is a lot of fun for me. Hopefully for you too.

-Isn't a mutant, but has superpowers that enable her to turn into any form of gas, which has its uses. The catches are that she has to know the chemical makeup first, and she reforms naked, which means she wears a black bandage suit when she knows she'll be doing it.
-Was tortured by Norman Osborn to really bring out her powers, which also screwed with her molecular structure. Within about ten years she'll be a walking ghost.
-Doesn't talk about any of this much, but is open about it when it comes up. And I need to do more with this.
-And due to the superpowers, torture, bad homelife and shady ethics, is very much at risk of becoming a supervillain in the future. And she knows it.
-Ends up in trouble a lot, usually by doing something stupid while thinking she's helping. I also need to do more with this.

-Inanimate animals, called muses, talk to her and tell her to do things that end up helping people. I mod them, no one else can hear them or see them move, and if you need an easy plot device to make something happen, Jaye can be your girl.
-Of course she might be crazy. Canon never got to outright say whether she's insane or not, so I don't say it either.
-I take NO RESPONSIBILITY for the things that come out of her mouth. She can be a lazy bitch with a serious snark problem (all IC, never OOC), or she ends up totally corrupting others with ideas that come out of the most random conversations. Yes, I do spend a lot of time staring at pings wondering where that came from and then writing IM's/emails going "I AM SO SORRY."
